Neon Drift Loop
★★★★☆ 4.4
Neon Drift Loop strips racing down to one thing: drifting. You hold to drift, release to snap out, and chaining clean drifts fills a boost meter that keeps you flying. It sounds simple, and it is, but nailing a whole track without breaking the chain feels fantastic.
The tracks are short loops designed to be replayed, and the leaderboard nudged us into 'one more run' territory more than once. Visually it leans into bright neon, which could get tiring, but the framerate stayed smooth even on our older test phone.
There's not much depth beyond mastering each track, so if you want deep car tuning look elsewhere. As a pick-up-and-play score chaser, though, it's one of the better arcade racers we've touched this year.
What we liked
- Drift-focused handling that's easy to grasp, hard to master
- Short loops perfect for quick sessions
- Smooth performance even on modest hardware
