About
WaveCore Play started as a group chat where a few friends kept swapping screenshots of odd little games nobody else seemed to notice. That habit turned into a proper site because we got tired of app-store lists that all read the same. We wanted room to explain why a game feels good, not just slap a star on it.,Everything here is written after real sessions. We don't skim a trailer and call it a review. Someone on the team plays a game long enough to hit its rough patches, then we talk about whether those patches matter. If a game bored us halfway through, we say so.,Genre doesn't decide whether we cover something. A tiny racing game with clever touch steering can earn a spot next to a forty-hour RPG. What matters is that the game does something honest and does it well on a small screen.,We're independent. No publisher tells us what to write, and we pick titles ourselves — often the ones buried under bigger releases. When we get something wrong, we update the piece and note the change.
